Yesterday, I was faced with one of my old friends from the ministry that's been a heated topic. He passed in front of me (just like God to put my money where my mouth was) and it was one of those gut turning moments. We both saw each other, but for me, this time was different than in the past, today, rather than thinking or saying all the things that would get me or others bent out of shape, I went to the Lord in prayer and said, "Lord, please bless him and the his ministry." I drove away from that crosswalk feeling the best I have ever felt in the past 18 months since our disagreements. That was a lot better than the way I used to feel after wanting to retaliate with words of defense, rational, and discouragement.

I felt the same way Charlie. I want to lash out right now at the circumstances that we find ourselves in but as I sat and listened to the message on Sunday I heard God say to me, "No, it is not for you to worry about." The quote David gave from George Washington Carver has really stuck with me this week.
