Hey! Isn't that B.........

Wooooooo! I almost over corrected coming down the 408 Expressway yesterday. Had I continued turning out of the spin, I probably would have rolled my truck several times. I remembered the lesson and wisdom the movie Cars taught (my son, Brady, makes me watch it like every other day) where Doc tells Lightning to turn Right to go Left, in order to drive in a slide.

So what happened? Honestly, I got caught up looking off the road rather than on the road, where my eyes should have been. As I drove east, I saw some activity on a billboard. Guys were working hard to put the finishing touches on a new billboard on the side of the expressway. I was entransed. Then...bumpppppppppbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrppppppppp.........rrrrrrrrrrrrrttttttttt! BEEP, BEEEEEEPPPPPPP! Rrrrrrrtt!

I took my eyes off the road.

Isn't this the way it is with Jesus. So many times, we get caught up in the periphery of the road and forget to look at the road and where it's taking us. When we look to the side, we drift from the road's plan. We drift to the shoulder of life, risking a blow out or, even worse, totaling our vehicle, throwing our precious cargo, and getting ourselves seriously injured or killed. However, when we follow His plan for our lives, the road will takes us to His willed destination for our lives, keeping us safe within His plan.

Watch out! Satan wants you to look away, and it only leads to destruction. Keep your eyes on the road, and as Brian Regan says, "SHOWHORSES! 10 and 2; 10 and 2!" You'll have to catch his act to understand that quote.

See you at Church this Sunday! I can't wait to see you and your friends!!

that must have been some billboard to look at! Did it have to do with new show on lifetime?

I haven't seen any new billboards lately. I am such a bad driver though. I have to stay very focused when I drive or else. I'd hate to tell Danny that I totaled our car because of a billboard about a new show on Lifetime.
